17/05/2021 : Towards the construction of the Square Kilometre Array

I will present an overview of the Square Kilometre Array, the world’s largest low- to mid-frequency (0.50 to 15 GHz) radio telescope whose beginning of construction is planned for 2021. SKA will conduct groundbreaking research that will transform our understanding of the Universe. It also represents a huge technological challenge, being in particular one of the main world-wide future Big Data projects.
