Public transportation: The two airports are well reachable by public transportation. Depending on your destination, you can take a shuttle, RER or bus. More information at this web page. Itinerary from Roissy-Charles de Gaulle to Paris City Centre (around 50 minutes): Take the RER B at station "Aéroport Charles de Gaulle 1" (terminal 1 and T3) or "Aéroport Charles de Gaulle 2 - TGV" (terminal 2 and F), in direction of "Massy Palaiseau", "Robinson" or "St Rémy les Chevreuses". Stop at "Saint-Michel - Notre-Dame" station. (Look at the map to go from "Saint-Michel - Notre-Dame" to "Institut Cordeliers"). Itinerary from Orly to Paris City Centre (around 45 minutes): Orly: Take the Orlybus in direction of "Denfert-Rochereau" and descend at terminus "Denfert-Rochereau". Then, take metro 4 in direction of "Porte de Clignancourt" until "Saint-Michel - Notre-Dame" Stop. (Look at the map to go from "Saint-Michel - Notre-Dame" to "Institut Cordeliers"). By train: There are six main railway stations in Paris. All offer international connections and all are served by metros and buses. More information can be found on the following web page. It is called T+ ticket and enables the customers to travel on the whole of the metro, the RER within Paris, the RATP buses in Paris and the suburbs (except for lines with special fares, as shuttles from airports). You can also make connections on the metro and the RER within Paris and bus/bus or bus/tram connections. After validating it every time you board a bus or tram, you have an hour and a half between the first validation and the last validation to make one or more connections. You can buy just a ticket (1.60 €) or a carnet (10 tickets - 11.60 €) from the tickets machines of the metro and RER stations, from the sales windows in certain bus terminuses, from shops approved by the RATP (mainly tobacconists) and from tickets machines in the stations.
