Web Projects: Chuck Patterson

Note: In Dreamweaver, you can ignore the how_to_fix, sca_workbook, and zotts sites.  The remaining sites are referenced below. All masters are on my computer with the
exception of the two ISOC websites (isoc_web and latOps_isoc), which are located on the V: drive.

In addition to the following sites, I also updated the Fermi LAT Performance page upon request.

• lat_newsletter:

  Site is hosted on Guilli Johannesson’s server, and you will have to get path and permissions from him.
  Upload files you wish to post to the web using WinSCP.
  Currently, I login, then, on the Remote Side, I click on the latNewsletter link
  On the Local Side, I have a shortcut to my master files.
  Most contributions to the newsletter are posted on: https://confluence.slac.stanford.edu/display/gt/LAT+Newsletter+Contributions+List;
  however, some contributions are emailed, others submitted in PDF format, etc.

• SAS (Science Analysis Software) page: is simply a "splash" page within the workbook:

• SAS Pictures: The picture album is prepared using Picasa. 
  I then use Microsoft Expression Web 3 and open
  http://222-glast.slac.stanford.edu/PictureGallery/ as a live site,
  then copy the images to the appropriate folder (e.g., 2011).
  Next I open the default.htm page and create the captions and links.
  The live site is the Fermi/GLAST LAT Picture Gallery at:
  http://www-glast.slac.stanford.edu/PictureGallery/

• isoc_web (public):
  
  Note that the masters for this site are on the V: drive:
  V:\GLAST\GLAST PROJECT\isoc_web\
  and you can upload directly from Dreamweaver in the usual way.

  Note: This site is linked in from the LAT Operationsbutton on the top-level navbar of the isoc_web site and functions as a password protected section of that site.
  However, it is no longer used and has been supeseded by: https://confluence.slac.stanford.edu/display/ISOC/Instrument+Science+Operations+Center
  
  Note that the masters for this site are also on the V: drive:
  V:\GLAST\GLAST PROJECT\isoc_web\
  And you can upload directly from Dreamweaver, but not in the usual way;
  instead, you must use a special batch file (publish.bat) created by Tony Johnson.
  The link to this batch file is located at the end of the latOps_isoc "Files" list.

Periodically, export the entire HTF section to pdf by clicking on the “View in Hierarchy” link next to the ‘Child pages’ section; this will display a “List Pages – Tree View” page.  Click on the “Advanced” tab and then “PDF Export”.  Check with Rob Cameron for information on where to copy the resulting PDF file.
