JIRA

JIRA is the software used by GLAST as its issue/bug tracking tool. Jira is used to track not only bugs, but to follow up on improvements and issues in our code system.

To get a JIRA account:

  1. Go to https://jira.slac.stanford.edu/signup/
  2. Enter your Username, Full name, Email address, etc.
  3. Select group GLAST.

You should receive an e-mail within 24 hours of signing up, indicating your account has been approved. (For more detailed information on JIRA, see JIRA: Bug Tracking in GLAST.)

Notes:

  • The JIRA password is now encrypted. There is no longer any need to send a separate e-mail to become a glast groupie
