Merit Skimmer

The Merit skimmer allows you to select a subset of data from the LAT merit ntuple. You can:

  • Use a standard ROOT "TCut" to select a subset of events based on Merit tuple columns.
  • Restrict the data to a specified range of runs.
  • Choose which subset of the merit tuple columns are written to the output.

See:

TCuts you can make

The TCut uses standard ROOT TCut syntax. See:

Specifying Data Catalog (Datacat) Criteria

You can also restrict the data to a certain range of runs. See:

Examples: Specifying Datacat Criteria

Merit Simple Skimmer Request GUI

Note: The following example will produce a summary of response function sets for diffuse cuts.
