interleave-55day: Pointing/Attitude/Livetime History

The pointing/attitude/livetime history (FT2) file was generated using orbit 17, a reasonably realistic orbit and attitude profile. This pointing history was generated by Julie McEnery using code by Eric Stoneking, the Guidance, Navigation, and Control engineer for the GLAST mission.

Altitude is fixed at exactly 565 km, and the inclination of the orbit is 25.3 deg (precession period 53.8 d). The attitude profile is the nominal scanning/rocking.

Note:

• Dead time per event was 27 microseconds.

• Corresponding livetime fraction is a function of trigger rate and thus includes variations with orbit position.

• The perimeter of the SAA is the same as for DC2 (defined by Rob Cameron) but the inclination of the orbit is now a bit lower.
